2003 Ford Excursion 7.3 4x4 (Bolivar)

Very rare 7.3 diesel Excursion. There is only one other 7.3 excursion within 500 miles listed. Make an offer. Mostly interested in cash, tractors and trailers. Trades should be fair both ways so I can add cash to something that is worth more if needed. Please use the email option. I don't text and can't always answer my phone during the day. The trailer in the picture is the one we towed with it.

It ran perfect and pulled our 10K trailer without issue until we took it in to have the water pump changed. The mechanic suggested we also do the high pressure oil lines and fuel bowl assembly as preventative maintenance. We let him do the work but when we picked it had power issues going over 30 MPH. We turned around and took it back but he couldn't figure out what happened.

Eventually he gave up and we took it to another mechanic who put over $10,000 in parts into it. He even had the heads rebuilt. Despite all that he couldn't figure out what it was either. I can provide paperwork to show what was done.

There are no other diesel mechanics in our area so we are giving up. It's the most comfortable vehicle we have had for traveling and love it. I could keep it for a parts but I would rather someone fix it. Parts are easier to find than good Excursions.

We also put brand new Goodyear Ultra Terrains on it just before this happened. Always changed the oil with Chevron Delo every 5k miles using 15k mile rated filters. Never needed to top off the oil.
