Asking $1,800, OBO. This is a very large, VERY heavy, old sawmill (blade was stolen), with a BIG diesel engine. One of our neighbors said it came off of an old navy ship. All we know is that the original owner, Jim Dougherty, used it here on the Shiloh Ranch, until he died, in December of 2017. He was 85 years old and still using this old sawmill.
We have no use for it, for what we are doing here, and don’t want it to just sit there, unused.
Perhaps you need it, or know someone who could put it to use? It will need disassembled and loaded onto a heavy duty trailer. My husband can help somewhat with the tractor, but cannot help lift anything, as he is disabled.
From what we’ve been told, the engine was very strong when it was running. Most things on this ranch were built using wood from that sawmill, including the shop, barns, and additions on the old house, by Jim.
