Doing some upgrades on my home theater. I've got multiple items that would get you to a very nice system without spending thousands. The speakers are built from high quality kits from DIYSoundgroup.com They use Pro woofers, compression drivers and wave guides. Very good home theater speakers.
I've got a pair of Fusion-12 Tempests and a Fusion-8 Center Finished in 3 coats of textured Duratex. Cabinets are built with 3/4" high quality MDF lined with acoustical foam and filled with polyfill. $750 for the set.
I've got an extra center channel called Fusion-6 Vibe. Built on a whim but never used. $125.
I've got a pair of Dayton 10" HO subs in 1 Cuft sealed flat packs also finished in Duratex. Tested in my HT when I finished the subs but never used. Sold as a pair only. $325. You can research these on Part Express and see the kits they sell.
I've got 4 Stereo Integrity HT-18 V1 18" subwoofers that will come in the 4 cuft boxes shown in the pics. If you're looking for incredible low frequency effects for moves or music these things will move some air. These are about 3 years old but never pushed. To build these now would be close to $500 each. Selling as pairs. $500/pair.
Only thing you would need is some surround speakers and you're set to go. Very efficient speakers that will shake the house.
