15-year-old ranch mare for sale. Don’t let the age fool you — she has not been used hard and still has plenty of energy and go.
Up until about 45 days ago she was more of a “throw a saddle on and lead the kids around” type horse. Since then, she’s had 30 days of riding on a working ranch and the past couple weeks have been spent fine-tuning her.
What she’s doing now:
Riding well
Can rope off her
Handles ranch work
Will continue to progress with more time
Important:
She is not a finished horse
High energy, not lazy, and doesn’t act like an older horse
Best suited for someone who knows their way around a horse and can keep her moving forward but would work well with someone who has less experience if they are confident.
She’s a good opportunity for someone wanting a usable mare without starting from scratch.
