Rusty is a 13 year old proven Stallion, 14.2 h tall, DNA and current coggins. He was trained to be ridden when he was 2 years old, then used as a stallion for years. He foundered 5 years ago and his owner took him to have special made shoes for his front feet until he made a complete recovery. He still has the thick neck. So he's a very easy keeper. He has to be kept off of spring grass and much grain. He can have a small amount of grain if he's being ridden hard. He gets some alfalfa. He is very friendly, easy to catch and loves people. He can be ridden bareback or saddled, backs and stops extremely well, smooth gaited, neck reins with a halter, loads and backs out of trailer well. He is good with, water, dogs, the breast collar and tail crupper. He stands well while being shod. He is good with most hwy traffic but needs work on the louder hwy traffic. He enjoyed pulling logs up out of the woods. I took him to the neighbor's children and they rode him for a half an hour and he behaved very well and did everything they told him. He also pulled logs up hill out of the woods while I was riding him and he enjoyed it. He can be ridden solo or with a mare I don't know about male horses we haven't ridden him with one yet. He's good at laying down when I pick up 1 foot with a rope.
