UPDATE: 2 kits left, both males, born 11/12, same litter
$20 each, 2/$35, 3/$50
These are standard Rex Rabbits, Weighing 8 to 12 pounds when fully grown.
Dressed out at 12 to 15 weeks old, you will get 3 to 3 1/2 pounds of healthy low-fat meat, per kit.
I have 9 kits available from two separate litters. They ARE related. The mom is a Harlequin colored Rex, and the dad is a Harlequin colored Rex. They are purebreds, but not papered.
The Rex rabbit doe averages 6 to 10 kits per litter, for approximately 4 to 5 years. Three does and one buck will produce approximately 600 pounds of meat per year, with an average breeding program.
Rabbits convert feed into meat, more efficiently than any other livestock on the farm. The meat is high in protein, and contains all nine amino acids, B12, E, iron, niacin, selenium, and potassium. It is very low in fat and cholesterol.
Rabbit meat is one of the healthiest, most nutritious meat you can add to your diet. It is tender and slightly sweet.
The approximate time to fully process and have a rabbit in the freezer, is 15 minutes.
We use no antibiotics, steroids, or growth hormones with our rabbits. They eat pellets, hay, fresh foods (when available from the garden), and freshwater daily. One adult rabbit eats approximately 1/2 cup of pellets per day if you are not supplementing.
See my other ads for other available rabbits.
