We have decided not to stick with raising quail right now for medical reasons. It doesn't help that I realized today he is a male because he was crowing! He is all white except for 3 to 5 feathers that are the wild type color. I tried putting him with bantam hens for a day with a protected area. Well you can see in the pictures how it disheveled his feathers and some were pulled out.
He is sweet and needs some girls. He was hatched in Aug or Sept of 2025. I'll look at my records and update with the month later. His parents were unrelated from different areas of SEMO. When we started we were hoping to get different genetics to the area.
I can also meet in Springfield depending on the day of the week.
