8 year old 14.2h titled BLM gelding from the Cedar Creek Mountain Herd in Utah. I adopted him when he was only about 7months then didn't get on his back til he was 6 because he was a slow grower. I've done a lot of trail riding with him alone or with a herd. My daughter has ridden him a few times in walk trot classes at fun shows. Very sturdy feet.
Saddles up quiet. I ride in a western saddle, an Australian saddle and bareback. Sometimes he does walk away when mounting then I just have them pointed at the trailer or something solid. Getting better with that. Ridden in an S curve and trained in a side pull. My daughter rides him in her grazing bit but rides better in the s curve with a very light hand because he's so sensitive to pressure. Just starting to neck rein. Lunges, loads, ties, bathes and leads very nice. I do give treats or grain when catching him. Has been easy to catch unless you catch him a couple times without treats. He's very smart and knows what you're going to do with him. Very straight legged. Big boned. He still is learning and I would consider him still green. He is ready to finish your way. $3000 or trade for an RV camp trailer
