Looking for two movers to help us for one Saturday in July with our heavier items. I'm hoping we're ready to rent a U-Haul and move on Saturday, July 11th or July 18th.
We will also rent a utility dolly and a flat dolly. The items we need help with will include: 1 dresser & hutch, 1 dresser and mirror, a toy boy, a L-shaped sectional that separates into 2 pieces, 4 large totes, an exercise bike, a computer desk, 1 small dresser, possibly 3 mattresses (we're going to try to do those ourselves), and maybe 1 entertainment center (won't need help with that if it needs to be disassembled).
Would prefer someone who has their own moving business but open to a couple movers who could use some extra money and is willing to help and handle our items with care. Would prefer two movers who know each other but it's not a must. We're willing to pay $75 per mover for the items I listed.
That would include moving them into the U-Haul, following us to our new residence, and unloading into the new place. Payment will be immediately after the items are successfully moved. Our current place has stairs that you'll need to go up or down for some items. The new place is all one level, however, there are stairs in the back of the building that you'll need to go up to get to our door.
We are good folks. You will get paid in cash before you leave. Please be prepared to move items with care, as we will need to deduct from your pay for damages due to negligence that could have be avoided.
