Maintenance/Mods: New (week of posting) oil change and filter. 4 total oil changes over life of vehicle using semi-synthetic oil. Brake fluid cycled/changed and less than a year old. Battery changed to aftermarket AGM and less than a year old. Pads/rotors/tires all still OEM and functioning, both tires filled with Ride-On Motorcycle Tire Sealant. Original chain swapped for x-ring chain with ~800miles on it. Engine coolant OEM. 16t front sprocket swapped to 17t. Aftermarket exhaust pie and muffler with OEM available. OEM Center stand, engine guards/bumpers and rear rack installed. Hand guards, front windshield and after market mirrors with OEM available Seat pad included unless not wanted (I highly suggest it).
Damage: One low side to left at ~5-10mph resulting in slightly bent left foot peg. Top two OEM bolts for left sided body panel lost and replaced
Compared to manufacturer claims I can tell you to expect a comfortable top cruising speed of around 65 when loaded down and dealing with hills and/or headwinds in 6th gear 7000rpm. Likes to shift about every 10mph, i.e. lots of shifting. MPG around 80-90. It was rode mostly in/around town which is the reason for lowish miles. Would make for a good first bike or around town/back roads riding, with some short highway stints. If you want a dedicated interstate cruiser or something to drag race stop lights this isn't it.
