Head joint is custom solid silver with some remnants of gold plating inside and along the lip.
A great flute upgrade at an affordable price for an advancing student or intermediate player. Has served me well for many years in a community orchestra and band.
Was last serviced in 2021 with complete overhaul including new pads and cleaning. Does have a couple small spots from oil on the fingers from playing over time, but otherwise in great, near perfect condition.
Great sound in all octaves from low B to high C (and beyond if actually needed).
Comes with case and carrying gig bag, both in great condition. Case itself is a double case made for a piccolo as well (piccolo sold separately in another listing).
Also comes with cleaning rods and polishing cloth.
