NOS 1963 Corvette Wire Assembly, Headlamp. GM PN 2983580 (Gr. 2.480). Used in Corvettes from 1963 thru 1965. Bought two in 1982 (have installed one) and stored in original bag and a box and a larger box and kept inside my home. Price $450.00.

Notes:

When installing a new harness or any other electrical item, you MUST remove the NEGATIVE battery cable from the battery beforehand.

It is beneficial to use Dielectric Grease on ALL connectors and fittings.

Before installing a new harness, take photos of the routing of the old harness and of connections.

Used 1963 Corvette Headlamp Wiring Harness. Removed from my car in about 2005 and replaced by one of the new ones. Some damage to wiring, wrap and some splices added. Should NOT be used unless brought up to acceptable standards by a wiring professional. Short length near last photos with headlamp connectors is broken off from this harness. Price $125.00.

Used 1963 Corvette Engine/Alternator/Starter Harness Assembly. Have 2. Had electrical short in both and burnt some wiring and insulation. Must be repaired by a wiring professional. Price $125.00/each.

Used 1963 Corvette Taillamp Wiring Harness Assembly. Need some repairs but is complete. Should NOT be used unless brought up to acceptable standards by a wiring professional. Price $125.00.

Used 1963 Corvette Main Harness Assembly. Had electrical issues and an under dash fire in last one in 2018. May be repairable but MUST be done by a wiring professional. Price 250.00/each.

FYI: The value of used old Corvette harnesses is in the CONNECTORS. It you have ever ordered a reproduction harness, one of the first things that you will be asked is "do you have the old harness"? That is because some of the connectors are not produced any longer and will delay the build of a new harness.
