I have been in the HDD industry since 2007. I have mostly been involved with Fiber projects all over the Midwest but have done multiple big steel casing bores. I consider myself an operator but I can do all most any of the jobs in the fiber construction. I am not a backhoe Operator by saying this yes I can run one but I don’t know if anyone can run backhoes like the old guys who are sadly fading away. I have 4000 plus hours on a 3020AT and 1000 plus on Mincon HDD50 air hammer on 24x40 series II. Also a lot of tri-hawk experience. I like Vermeer and Digitrak but the 3020AT is a proven rock system but have never liked any subsite locators. Have CDL class A with double/triple , and Tanker endorsement. I run trackhoes but on JD backhoe controls(not iso). Haul a lot of equipment with lowboy with trucks with power and big transmissions. Also have plowed a little bit with 1250quad Vermeer and D8 Cat with Bron plow but only Inner-duct (not comfortable with direct bury). Have also supervised crews and built many 30,000’ subdivisions. I have a young family now and want to be home nightly in Branson. Occasional overnight would be acceptable but I also want a place to call home. I hate switching jobs more than moving. I am 32 years old and have no problem telling someone I don’t know how to do something. I am a good learner and have no problem with critiques and advise
I also am willing to switch Careers. Grew up around cattle and Tractors.
