This vintage tooled leather bowling bag was my father’s. He enjoyed bowling from his early 20’s, until he passed. His last bowling “date” was when he took my cousin’s children for an “Uncle Dave Bowl-Fest”, back in 2013. He passed away, unexpectedly, two months later. He was just shy of 74.
The seams need restrung, but there’s still a lot of life left in this old bowling bag. I’d love to see someone who loves the game as much as my dad did, be able to put it to good use before it gets retired. The holes in the leather for the stitching are still intact and not compromised so you don’t have to punch new holes—just stitch it back together with new binding material.
If you know of anyone, if not you, shoot me a text, or give me a call during decent hours. Asking $25, OBO. Check out Ebay, where they’re asking $75 - $250, even for the ones that need redone at the seams.
Thanks! Shari
