Rare antique foot operated Barnes floor model mortising machine. Killer claw foot base that could be used by itself!
W.F.&J. BARNES CO FROM Rockford Il. Spring operated foot operation. This is direct from estate sale so will clean up even more. I see just one small lever at the very top that shows a repair. This is an outstanding pc to add to any serious collection of the antique pre-electric machines.
Heavy unit stands 58" tall and has a 26" base spread.
