Body is 14ft. long. The exterior was resealed and painted a little over a year ago, before we purchased it. A new fridge and AC unit were also put in at that time. We redid the interior of this vintage Shasta camper. Beautiful new wood laminate flooring, fresh paint, new kitchen faucet, new decor, 2 new tires.
We had some minor leaking around the ceiling vent, so we replaced it with a new vent. We’ve had no leaks since then, even in heavy rain. We have a second vent with a fan that will go with the camper purchase, but we just haven’t had time to install it. We converted the electrical to 30 amps, so she has plenty of power and plugs in easily at campgrounds.
It sleeps 4-2 at the dinette conversion, and 2 on the gaucho pull out couch. There is a ledge for a bunk, you would just need to add a larger piece of plywood where there is now a small shelf.
This 1970 Shasta Starflyte would be great for a young family or a couple that does have time to camp.
