We have 100+ acres that was logged almost 2 years ago. We have partial trees and tree tops in every paddock and pasture except one. It’s walnut, red oak, and white oak. We’re looking for experienced lumberjack or woodsman to cut the firewood and just leave us 25%, of what you cut. We can load it and stack it ourselves, but just can’t cut all these trees up. So what we’re asking is you cut up all these trees (we can burn the little stuff), using your equipment, your chainsaws, etc, , and leave us a quarter of what you cut up, taking 75% for yourself.
Second option: use our equipment, our chainsaws, our wood splitter, our fuel, and make it a fifty/fifty split. You get half, we get half. We would be open to possibly making arrangements to store your portion of the cut wood on site, if need be. That way you’re only stacking and hauling once.
We’re in our sixties and though we’ve been trying to tackle these hundreds of downed trees, it’s turning out to be more than we’re able to do. You can’t even tell we’ve been trying! 😂
