Weld Wheel Prostar cold formed aluminum Wheels (2). 16" x 7" (DISCONTINUED). Goodyear Eagle VR60 (Gatorback) tires 225/60VR16. Wheels are single hole pattern 5 on 4.75" (Chevy) with 4.5" back spacing. Very light weight. Very good condition. NO curb damage. Weld Wheel push thru aluminum Center Caps 605-5083 are included. In original boxes, stored inside my home and never installed or used. Wheels require long shank lug nuts. Tires are like new. Removed from my 1963 Corvette (drum brakes) rear. Only used for a short time before replaced with 16" x 8" wide rears. Stored in garage and covered to protect from weather. Will need balancing (back side stick on weights) before long term use. Price $650.00/pair.

Weld Wheel made very few 16" Prostar wheels.

16" wheels/tires have performance advantages over 15". Better grip, lateral stability and response due to the lower aspect ratio while still maintaining the same outside diameter as a 15" tire. Especially beneficial in an older rear wheel drive vehicle. Performance tires are also beneficial to ride quality. The softer compound absorbs stiff suspension much better than a hard (high mileage) tire.

Will include a custom centering tool for shank lug nut style wheels to ease installation. No photo as I do not want to reveal my design.

Custom designed and CNC machined stainless steel Shank Style Lug Nuts that I designed specifically for my Prostar wheels in the 1990s. 7/8" hex with 1.531" shank length of .694" diameter (will NOT fit cast wheels). 7/16-20 NF thread full length from bottom. Counterbored clearance diameter from top end about 1/2" deep. Will engage short factory installed studs as all aftermarket shank style lug nuts will NOT (they are recessed about 1/4" before any threads). Cross drilled at hex 1/16" for safety wire if desired. Nuts feature a full filet radius under 1" diameter flange for extra strength. Can use any stud length including 3" racing studs. Can use with a wheel spacer if needed as long as holes or slots accommodate an 11/16" shank style lug nut. I used these lug nuts for a few years before replacing Prostar wheels. No damage.

Custom designed and CNC machined stainless steel Washers for above lug nuts. 1" diameter 1/16" thick. Full inside radius to fit against flange face of lug nuts (must be oriented as such) at installation. Also have special 1 1/2" diameter washers 3/16" thick with full radius at I.D. and O.D. See last photos. I used both types of these washers for a few years before replacing Prostar wheels. No damage.

Price $110.00 for10 nuts and 11 small washers and 10 large washers. Will sell wheels without the lug nuts and washers.

Price $750.00 for wheels/tires with lug nuts and washers as stated above.

MUST be picked up at my home in Springfield, MO.
